Our "metal" amp tube kit is designed to produce richer, thicker, and darker tones. You have the choice between Ruby 6L6's or JJ 34's, it includes a "high gain" preamp tone kit. The Ruby 6L6GCMSTR's give you articulate distortion or the JJ EL34's will give you a "wall of sound" and the attack and response needed in metal. Our preamp tone kit is all high gain, designed so you can push your amp and is as follows:

Rock / Hard Rock -

Our "rock" amp tube kit is designed to produce richer, smooth, fuller bodied tones. You have a choice between 6L6GC's or EL34's. The Tung-Sol EL34B's have a smooth, almost 6L6 like distortion.
We recommend the Mullard CV4004 in V1 - it will give the clean channel a three dimensional sound. Placing the Ruby/JJ 12AX7ACZ HG in V2 and V3 will give your modern vintage gain channels a little more character. Our preamp tone kit will give you the flexability needed in rock, and is as followed:
